Heartbeat: the idea behind the video

Heartbeat is an NGO whose mission is to treat children suffering from heart disease with funding coming from musical performances. Given the creativity of their strategy we couldn’t be happier to be part of their campaign.

The Brief

We were approached by Heartbeat to create a video that will raise awareness on children suffering from heart disease, introducing the NGO, and hopefully get people to donate.

The Process 

We divided the video into two main parts. The first part contained facts and statistics on heart disease for the purpose of highlighting the need for donations. The second part came as a transition leading to Hearbeat as an actual solution. We based our visual style on their identity and opted for 2D animation: a friendly approach that appeals to potential donors and regular people at the same time.

The Outcome

We worked on two versions of Heartbeat’s explainer video, both in English and French to have maximum reach, and impact. It was a success.
