ScanTrust: the video

ScanTrust is an application that protects against counterfeiting by empowering consumers to verify the authenticity of a product with their smartphone, and we had the pleasure of working on their explainer video.

The Brief

We were informed by the client that the explainer video for the new app should help audiences identify to the main character, and look at the application as a solution that builds trust between them and brands.

The Process

Given that we wanted the animation to look very detailed, we opted for the 2D artwork to create a flow and a certain buildup to each scene.

The Outcome

Not only did the video successfully introduce the application to relevant consumers, the explainer video received over a thousand organic views on YouTube, and was used in their online campaign.
