LAU School of Business: the video
Reaching teenagers can often be difficult, especially when the topic is their future career. That’s why the Lebanese American University approached us. They were looking to promote their updated School of Business to potential students and give them reasons to apply.
The Brief
Our mission was to create a short video that would appeal to teenagers, and position the LAU School of Business. The video would be used on YouTube, social media channels and in presentations to students.
The Process
Every phase of the work was done keeping in mind our challenging target audience: teenagers looking for the college where they would continue their education.
That’s why the visual style of the illustrations, the characters look and feel, and even the voice over were designed to be friendly, and far from a “corporate” or intimidating look and feel.
Testing characters:
A focus group of teenagers also reviewed the video in its development and gave us feedback in order to best direct the video to our target audience.
The Outcome
The outcome was a 70-second video that gave the young audience reason to apply to LAU School of Business, and that clarified many misconceptions that could exist.
