HSBC: a series of videos

We were approached by our friends over at Eastline Marketing to create a series of videos as part of an online campaign for HSBC UAE.

The Brief

Our mission was to create 10 videos, 8 of which would be helpful tips about banking, and 2 of which would be tutorials on how to use their Global View and Global Transfers.

The Process

We had two challenges for this project:

1- Create a visual world that fits the HSBC brand, and that would be applied across the 8 educational videos. We wanted our audience to instantly recognize that the 8 videos are part of a series.

2- The second challenge was from a management point of view, where we had to work on the 8 videos simultaneously, following our step-by-step process.

 

The HSBC branding guidelines did not include specific guidelines for illustration, so we had to come up with an identity for the videos following their colors, and following the Infographic style that was selected.

Each video would tell a real-life story that can happen to any of us, and the solution would be provided via a tip.

The Outcome

The result was a very consistent look and feel for 10 fun videos to watch at 45 to 60 seconds each (the ideal length for an online video).
