FanNav: the explainer video

FanNav is a very creative mobile phone app that allows fans to personalize the outcomes of live sports event by capturing the emotions of the event. For such a new concept, we stepped up to the challenge and created and even cooler explainer video. Let’s hope we did a good job.

The Brief

With the ever-changing nature of technology, we are switching the way we store our memories, from physical memories to digitally saving everything. The client insisted that the explainer video highlighted the below:                                                                                                                                                                                                 “FanNav goes deeper than any existing platform to record personal experiences that you’ve had when consuming events, tying together the people we attended, the emotions we felt, the performance on the field and the photographs that relate to each unique moment.” Challenge accepted.

The process

Given the sentimental link between the mobile app and the client, the video had to include a main character with a story as to connect with the target audience who attended the same games, and wanted to keep the same memories as the character. Using 2D animation, we were able to create beautiful illustrations that told the story on their own. We also made sure a lot of elements were on the move as to convey the dynamics of the app, along with an American voice over since the app will be launching in the U.S.

The outcome

The video beautifully portrayed the app’s spirit, and has been shared on YouTube, and on the website’s landing page. Watch it, and give us your feedback!
