Eduvation video: the story

Given the rapid change in technology, even parents are keeping up with its latest trends, especially when it’s something related to their kids’ education. Introducing the Eduvation mobile app. And this is how we developed their explainer video.

The Brief

We were approached by Eduvation to create a fresh and simple video explaining the use of their mobile application. The app allows parents to keep track of their kids’ performance at school.

The Process

We started with the Eduvation script that had to be serious and straight forward because of the delicate situation of introducing new technology to parents. In order to keep up with the simplicity of the content, we opted for 2D animation and illustration using the identity’s color. As you can see, the storyboard sketches below that showed flow and continuity were applied in the animation to make it as smooth as possible.

The Outcome

The result was a beautiful informative and entertaining explainer video that created awareness for the app, leading to hundreds of downloads.
