British Council EDUKEX 2015: The Video

The Brief

We were approached by British Council UAE to prepare the theme video for their event in Dubai and Abu Dhabi on November 2015, British Council EDUKEX 2015. To give you a quick overview: Edukex 2015 is UAE’s largest exhibition for leading UK universities.

The Process

We used a graphic style that appealed to young adults, soon to be college students to be precise, that represented our main audience. The infographic style was the perfect choice to help them retain the information our client wanted to convey: number of students, universities, and the event dates. The colors and themes we used were also loyal to the client’s main identity. And let’s not forget about the professional voice over, that represented British Council UAE’s identity.

The Outcome

The video was such a huge success that countries such as Azerbaijan decided to adapt it for themselves. What led to the success of the videos was that it spoke of the basic need of our youth, which is their right for education. The video was not just informative but also, solution oriented.
