BidZeed: the explainer video

We loved the BidZeed concept from when we first heard about it, so we were really excited to be working on their explainer video!

The Brief

Our mission was to create a 2-min explainer video for the platform, that would be both a “what is BidZeed?” and “How does BidZeed work?” video. The challenge here was to create a visual style that would allow us to reproduce the platform, within an illustrated world of characters and elements that would appeal to young aduts.

The Process

We went through many iterations to perfect the look and world of our characters. Our main goal was to make them “real” so that viewers would identify with them, and want to be in their shoes. The same also applied to the elements around our characters, as well as the fashion items, electronic items, etc. that they are using. This was crucial to appeal to our right target audience. Illustration was intricate to make it as real as possible, within our illustrated world.

As for the interface, we simplified it into a 2D/flat platform, keeping the most essential elements and removing the buttons or interface elements that become redundant or too small.

The Outcome

The result was a beautiful, entertaining 2-minute video that kept viewers hooked and made them want to know more about the platform.
