3 reasons why wezank decided to move from Beirut to Cape Town
April’s Fool done right! Gotcha! šĀ
It’s moving time! We know what you’re thinking, these guys are nuts! But honestly relocating presents an opportunity for a fresh start. And as we’re deciding to embark on a new journey for our business, we thought why not take it all the way. Guys, we’re moving to Cape Town.
The team is unhappy
Happy employees are productive employees. Bottom line: Lebanon is not helping the team’s creativity; it was time to make a change. We couldn’t forgetĀ the notion that team members are happy when they work together under the best environment. So it was our job to create one that enables them to do great work. We can’t stand Pascale nagging all day long, nor Toni’s tears when he’s alone on his desk. Could you?
Cape Town is the best city in the world
Particularly Woodstock, where the image of the perfect place to do business seems to finally be taking shape. Pioneered by Ogilvy moving to the area a very long time ago, there is now a steady stream of hipsters parking their bikes outside of trendy delis on Sir Lowry Road where new companies are thriving. Itās a culturally diverse area of the city, perfect for start-ups and small companies that are looking for a booming area. Did we mention they have monkeys flying everywhere?
Old, new, and very new clients are waiting
Moving to Cape Town will really allow us to retain many of your old clients but also give us the potential to bring in new ones. We’re gonna have the chance to explore new markets and many people with new fresh ideas, like breath odor evaluators, duck masters, professional apologizers, ostrich babysitters, and many more!
Thereās no point trying to say that officeĀ relocationsĀ are easy, they arenāt! But moving will give us the chance to revamp our business, motivate our team and explore a new country.
Have you recently relocated your office or have you moved before? We could use some advice!Ā Stay tuned for more updates on Monday!Ā
