UNDP peace building in Lebanon: explainer video
Did you know that you can use an explainer video for short announcements? This is what UNDP Lebanon asked us to do for the content of their 10th issue last year. This was the process.
The Brief
The United Nations’ PEACE BUILDING IN LEBANON issue was launching their Development Programme, and wanted to announce it along with other current political and societal issues. The issue included Syrian and Lebanese writers, journalists, reporters, and artists to cover the repercussions of the Syrian crisis on Lebanon and the relationship between both, aside from all the differences.
The Process
We wanted to create a short 40 second explainer video for UNDP Lebanon that was clear, and only consisted of headlines of the content giving the necessary information as to where the issue will be released: with which newspapers it will be distributed, in which language, and where it can be bought.
Given the data, we opted for an infographic animation as it is easily searchable, efficient, and shareable on social media.
