3 of the most popular YouTubers we can learn from

YouTube receives over 1 billion views a month, so no wonder a lot of successful people are known because of their channels. Which is why, we thought about listing some of the most popular vloggers and YouTubers, and the reason behind their success. Let’s get started.

The Fine Bros

Brothers Benny and Rafi Fine are  two online producers and video production company owners who started succeeding with their “Kids React” videos,  eventually leading them to produce “Teens React.” The series became one of YouTube’s most popular series of all time.

The popular reaction-based series was inspired by Youtube’s trend of reaction videos in general. The brothers say that videos aren’t about them, but rather about representing a certain group, and getting insights from the only generation to be raised on the internet.

We can we learn from them? Staying up to date on the latest current issues, and showcasing people who are a sample of the whole population that our target audience can identify themselves into.

PewDiePie

Felix Arvid Ulf Kjelberg is aSwedish video-game commentator who dominated YouTube over the past year. The videos consist of him playing various video games while a box in the top corner of the screen shows his reactions to what is happening. He has broken numerous YouTube growth records, jumping from 12 million subscribers in August 2013 to more than 40 million subscribers this year. Many attribute the success  of his channel to the attention he pays to his fans by spending a lot of time talking about them, answering their questions, and forming a community of “bros.”

We can we learn from him? To listen to our target audience, and create content that attracts them.

Jenna Marbles

She’s one of the most recognizable stars on YouTube who became popular after her “How To Trick People Into Thinking You’re Good Looking” video. Her channel features funny videos about being a millennial woman. And considering the sensitivity, and how controversial of some topics are, her way of conveying the message is just right.

We can we learn from her? It takes a lot of guts to talk about social issues, especially when it comes to getting the right kind of attention despite the popularity of the topics. To break through the clutter, make your video as authentic as it can get.
